Will’s Training Calendar

Q: WHY I DON’T USE GOOGLE CALENDAR?
A: This. Is. Easier.

If you need to reschedule a session this week, please pick one from my available times and text me the new time you want to train. These are my work hours and I will be in the gym (usually) and you are free to pick and choose from them without us fumbling back and forth via text.

The 24 Hour Notice requirement is still applicable for last minute cancellations. But if there is another open time on THAT DAY that is better (Because life is unpredictable!), just pick it, text me and come on in!

Just say: “I”m changing to your 10:00 spot today and can’t do my 7:00 spot.”

Easy. Peasy.

Habit Engineering

New Years Resolutions come and go, but let’s face it, habits prevail.

That’s why anyone seeking long term stable change has to become  their very own habit engineer.

Processed food companies and fast-food restaurants spend millions in research to CREATE habits that get you to buy and eat their junk food products.

So … controlling and engineering your habits is what they are all about.

So if you want to be the root user of your own habits and create your own patterns then …

Here is a primer:

The Carl Sandburg Stretches

The legendary poet Carl Sandburg’s great grand son has released the poet’s exercise secrets!

And they are amazingly in line with current exercise theory and get your heart pumping at the same time.

According to Rip Esselstyn, Carl Sandburg did these stretching calisthenics into his nineties!

Many of these are familiar with these if you ever did old fashioned calisthenics, but the cool thing is that the modern science of stretching shows that it is way better to do dynamic stretches before any physical activity.

And guess what?

The Carl Sandburg stretches are dynamic stretches.

So, here are the videos of Rip Esselstyn, the author of “The Engine 2 Diet,” and great grandson of Carl Sandburg demonstrating them.

I’m a raving fan of Rips work and my copy of his book “The Engine 2 Diet is thumb worn and stained with a lot of cooking mishaps! In fact, I bought another just to have close by.

Here is the list for an easy reference. The videos are below.
